South County Dock Life

Forgot my shades this morning but I enjoyed the rays in their most raw form. I never realized how vulnerable the coastal lifestyle is – everything is so open. There are no four walls to restrain you or roofs to cover you, instead, you rely on mother nature to protect you. And once you allow yourself to let go, there’s no need to concentrate on composure. Your thoughts shift and you find assurance through a simple breeze or even the new aura of your neighbor from the sun. Here are some photos of my easy day down at Jim’s Dock, enjoy!

Boats in the background. One day, I’ll set sail…

Love the view of the dock on Succotash Road.

Notice how the Schwin isn’t bound by a lock. It feels good to let go.

Broaden your horizons.
